When should I book a spray tan?2 days before your main event is best. If you are getting a tan for a vacation, try and schedule your tan the day before your trip so your color is FRESH and can last as long as possible.
-
What should I wear to my spray tan appointment?Wear dark loose/baggy sweats to your appointment, a long sleeve baggy top and slides/sandals. Stay away from any light-colored clothing, leggings/tight pants, bra, shorts, tank tops, socks or tennis shoes to ensure an even development.
-
How long will my tan last?On average, clients using the Rapid rinse solution will see their tan last roughly 5-8 days. Clients who use the 8 hour solution will see their tan last roughly 7-12 days. It is important to remember that everyone’s skin is different. Your spray tan results will be affected by the way you prep and take care of your tan. I also offer water resistant tans, that will stay up to 30% longer! Things that can also affect the tan development: if you are pregnant, it is “that time of month” or if you have had any recent medication changes (our hormones can cause the tan to not develop as dark or last as long).
-
Is it safe for pregnant or nursing women to get a spray tan?Yes! My products are safe for those who are pregnant! It's always safe to ask your OBGYN first!
-
How far out do I shave and exfoliate?PLEASE exfoliate and shave 24 hours before your appointment! As well as any waxing, nails, or laser!
-
How white will my teeth get?Everyone’s teeth are different and will have a natural stopping point. Individual results will depend on your current tooth shade and composition of teeth, but we see an average improvement of 5 to 8 shades during a client’s visit.
-
How long does my teeth whitening results last for?Individual results will vary and depends on your diet and lifestyle, but the average is 3 to 6 months. Our whitening treatments lift years of staining, but it’s natural that some surface staining will return over time. This is why we offer a variety of options to our returning customers, so you can quickly come back for a touch-up to keep your smile bright!
-
Does teeth whitening hurt or cause sensitivity? Most clients experience little – no sensitivity because our all natural product is very gentle. Any sensitivity is typically caused from dehydrated nerves, so we recommend drinking a lot of water before and after your appointment. A small percentage may feel some sensitivity, but it is short term and gone within 24-48 hours. If you are at all concerned, we offer a desensitizing gel to help.
-
Is teeth whitening safe for pregnant or nursing women?Yes, all that I ask is that you talk with your OB/GYN and let them know I use food and dental grade hydrogen peroxide.
-
How long does a teeth whitening appointment take? The best part about our service is that this is all done in ONE 90-minute appointment! You undergo three 20-minute sessions, and possibly a fourth if your teeth need a little extra love. You’ll walk out with your brightest smile after one appointment. If you are needing a touch up, your appointment will only be a hour!
